Mom(Averee), Dad(Alan) and Roland Truman are in Montgomery right now waiting for their first flight. They will be buying text books and supplies for the library and celebrating with Meto in a few days when the library is officially opened.

The construction will be complete in about a week. They were putting the windows in while we were there and had just finished mounting the solar panels and installing the electrical stuff.  Some of the kids that walked to Meto for the youth conference stayed in the library for a few days. Soon the kids will have a safe, well lit place to study and learn.

Proof….

It takes a really really long time to get to Nairobi! I was going to take 4 more pictures of us last night but you can just imagine what we looked like. We arrived at 11ish last night and got some sleep at the hotel. We drive to Meto, Kenya this morning and will be there for the next 6 days. Keep an eye out for an update on Saturday.
